It’s missions month here in the Kaléo Program. The students have been fully submerged into thinking and
contemplating missions as they have and will be focusing on missions for the
next month. This past weekend the students had the opportunity to attend Mission
Fest in Vancouver. They were able to gleam lots of information from all the
booths that were being displayed as well as all the seminars they attended. We
also had some fun over the weekend as we toured downtown Vancouver. On Thursday
we rented tandem bikes and rode around the sea wall. On Friday morning, we were
able to explore Grandville Island, discovering little shops and enjoying the
market.

Currently the students are taking “Perspectives in Missions” with
Professor Gord Nickerson. Both of these experiences are helping to prepare them
for their upcoming missions trips that we begin in just over a week. For these
trips, 10 of the students will be traveling to Mexico and 14 of them to
downtown Vancouver. Please keep them in your prays over the next week as they
prepare mentally and emotionally to serve the Lord and those in each of these
areas.
